Our motherland is blessed with the most beautiful and resource rich land and sea areas that is teeming with one of the world's richest bio-diversity habitats and an ecosystem that our forefathers for 2500 years protected and nurtured with the world's largest rainwater harvesting system. It is our duty to protect it.
As your President, it is my duty and my responsibility to create a bright future for all our citizens, including the future generations, and prepare our island country to be a home that we all can be proud of with a rule of law, good governance, democracy, and human rights be the cornerstone of our living ethos.
